Connecting our Community Workshops: Improving Social Connections for Older People
Your experience, knowledge and ideas are needed! Please join a guided community conversation around how Hawkesbury can be a more connected and compassionate community, particularly for older people.
Everyone is welcome - community members, volunteers, health professionals and community service providers. You are ALL important in identifying the strengths in the Hawkesbury.
The workshops will also provide an opportunity to discuss ways we can work towards a more connected future.
In a Compassionate Community, people are motivated by compassion to take responsibility for and care for each other. There is a desire for the needs of everyone to be recognised and met, where the well-being of the entire community is a priority, and all people are treated with respect. What does your compassionate community look like? You are invited to be part of the discussion.
Workshops take place 10.00am-3.00pm and include morning tea and lunch.
