Lifeline Crisis Support Suicide Aftercare Program

The Lifeline Crisis Support Suicide Aftercare Program offers short term crisis support to adults in South Western Sydney who have attempted suicide, are experiencing a crisis in their lives and require someone to talk to. The service is provided free of charge is an initiative of South Western Sydney PHN.

The program is suitable for people who are:

  • Needing support after a suicide attempt
  • Assessed as able to benefit from short-term telephone support
  • Over 18 years of age
  • Clients fitting the above criteria who have limited accessible support and/or resources
  • Living, working or studying in South Western Sydney

The program is not suitable for people who are:

  • Likely to need emergency intervention due to heightened suicidal risk
  • Experiencing psychiatric symptoms such as psychosis or dissociation which would prevent them from engaging constructively in the program
