Community
Rev Bill Crews Medical Van
The Rev Bill Crews Foundation medical van provides healthcare for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. A mobile team of a GP, nurse, and social worker offers health checks, screening, preventative care, treatment, ongoing healthcare support, and referrals to health and community services.
Operates 12pm-2pm alongside the Rev Bill Crews Foundation’s Wednesday food support program at Fairfield Station Forecourt.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander
Online Coaching Program for Building Culturally Grounded Relationships with Aboriginal Communities
Western Sydney Community Forum (WSCF) is partnering with Aboriginal cross-cultural coach, facilitator and trainer, Anny Druett, to deliver Pearl’s Plan – a virtual coaching program helping community sector organisations build culturally grounded relationships with Aboriginal communities.
The program is based on a framework of Nine Pearls, which represent nine specific areas where Aboriginal and mainstream ways of working can come together. Each week, participants work through one Pearl and will be invited to apply what they are learning in areas such as service delivery, organisational development and governance.

South Western Sydney Primary Health Network (SWSPHN) Survey on Improving Healthcare for Older People
A survey to explore the barriers and enablers to older people accessing timely, appropriate and coordinated healthcare and aged care support. Feedback will help identify local service gaps, improve understanding of older patients’ needs, and inform how health and aged care support is planned and delivered in SWS.
Culturally & Linguistically Diverse (CALD)
Diversity & Disability Alliance (d+da) Vietnamese Peer Cafe
This session provides an opportunity for the Vietnamese community to ask the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) their questions directly, to clarify NDIS processes, understand available supports, and address individual queries in an accessible setting.

Workshop: Understand, Recognise, Respond – Foundations in Domestic & Family Violence Practice
Delivered by Lifeline Australia, this two-day workshop provides practical, NSW-specific knowledge and resources to support safer and more consistent responses when domestic and family violence is identified. Designed for professionals who may not be domestic and family violence specialists, but who may recognise concerns and connect people with support.

HSC Study Hub Extended Hours
Fairfield City Open Libraries offer help for students getting ready for the HSC, providing a quiet place to study or support services to help them prepare.
Extended opening hours are available until Thursday, 5 November at Bonnyrigg Library and Whitlam Library Cabramatta. Bonnyrigg Library will remain open until 8pm on Wednesdays, while Whitlam Library Cabramatta will be open until 10pm, Tuesday to Thursday.

Fair Foundations Youth Drop-In Service September 2026 Calendar
Safe and supportive place for young people 12-24 years. Run by Youth & Family Support Specialists, it offers access to sports, activities, tailored support, as well as a space to socialise and have fun.
