The NSW Treaty Commission has been asked to listen to Aboriginal people across the State and report back on two key questions:
– Do Aboriginal people want a Treaty or another kind of formal agreement in NSW?
– If so, what should that agreement include?
There is no decision already made. The answers to these questions will come directly from Aboriginal communities.

- Fairfield Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) Applications
The Fairfield YAC represents the views of Fairfield City’s youth to Council, and advocates for the needs of young people. YAC meets once a month to have group discussions on emerging issues affecting young people. In between meetings, there are opportunities to volunteer at community events, take part in workshops, connect with excursions and have fun while building leadership skills.
YAC is also the official steering committee for the Bring It On! Youth Festival, Fairfield City’s major Youth Week event.
Open to young people 14-24 years living in the Fairfield LGA.
