Funding is available for community-based initiatives that respond to local needs and deliver meaningful health and wellbeing outcomes for older people across South Western Sydney.

Care Finder services provide face-to-face assistance to vulnerable older people who need help accessing in-home support services. South Western Sydney Primary Health Network (SWSPHN) has commissioned Tharawal Aboriginal Corporation to deliver the service to First Nations people across the seven LGAs.

Autism Advisory & Support Service Career Explorer Program
A program designed specifically for students and school leavers of all abilities who are eager to gain skills in Retail and/or Hospitality. It offers an opportunity to explore and develop practical skills in these areas, providing hands-on experience in a supported setting.
Sessions are available Monday to Friday, during school terms.

SSI Bridge to Belonging – Peer Support & Leadership Program
SSI and partners program for d/Deaf and hard of hearing young people 17-29 years, combining peer support, leadership skills, and lived‑experience insights. It supports participants to build confidence, connection, and leadership skills through peer support and shared learning. It aims to strengthen leadership and self‑advocacy skills, improve wellbeing, and explore employment pathways.

University of Wollongong and South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) program for parents/carers and their children 6-13 years, living in the Fairfield area.
Designed to help families be active together, participants will take part in games and activities that support movement, teamwork, and healthy habits. It is a great way to spend time together, make friends, and learn new skills.
