Transurban Community Grants 2021

Transurban is offering grants of up to $10,000 for projects bringing social and environmental benefits to communities. Grants are open to a wide range of organisations and initiatives and we encourage inclusion, diversity of thought and innovation. Organisations must have Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status. Eligible LGAs in NSW:

  • City of Sydney
  • Randwick City Council
  • Bayside Council
  • Inner West Council
  • Willoughby City Council
  • Hornsby Council
  • The Hills Shire Council 
  • City of Parramatta
  • City of Ryde
  • Lane Cove Council
  • North Sydney Council
  • Ku-ring-gai Council
  • Georges River Council
  • Canterbury-Bankstown City Council
  • Georges River Council
  • Fairfield City Council
  • Blacktown Council
  • Penrith Council

Applications are assessed against the following:

  • The benefit for communities close to Transurban roads
  • Ability to impact the social needs in the areas of safe and accessible transport, education and training.
  • Ability to achieve lasting benefits
  • The potential to positively effect a large number of people or drive significant environmental outcomes
  • The potential to improve the lives of diverse, disadvantaged or underprivileged groups
  • How specific the application is about the grant’s intended use and expected outcomes
  • Whether the grant will help create community benefits that may not otherwise be possible without grant support.
