THE WRITING ZONE: Program for Young Western Sydney Writers

THE WRITING ZONE is an opportunity for twelve Western Sydney writers aged 16-30. It's a chance to join a community of the most exciting young writers in the West, and to work together to develop your writing. Your work will be published in two print anthologies and you'll take part in readings and performances.

THE WRITING ZONE is a program for the diverse communities of Western Sydney. It's designed to help young writers from the West tell their stories, polish their craft and build a creative community together.

THE WRITING ZONE is a year-long program of mentorship, writing, editing, performance and publication.

This program is open to all writers aged 16-30 from Western Sydney. It's open to writers who are school students, writers who are uni students, writers who aren't students at all. It's open to writers who've had work published and writers who haven't sent their work out into the world.

Applicants are invited in the following genres: poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction, scriptwriting and writing for performance.
