Transport for Study, Training & Work:
Community Culture – Active Care Network is participating in a Transport for NSW trial that helps eligible people who have limited transport options to access transport to TAFE, apprenticeship, traineeship, and Registered Training Organisations (RTO) opportunities across the Hawkesbury and Blue Mountains. People may be eligible if all of the following apply:
- Attending face-to-face study or training, or working as an apprentice or trainee
- Having limited or no access to suitable private or public transport
- Transport barriers are affecting their ability to get to study, training or employment
- Not receiving government-funded transport assistance for the same purpose

Child Car Seat Safety Check
A Hawkesbury City Council initiative, a child car seat check ensures children are safe, with an inspection by a Transport for NSW Authorised Restraint Fitter. Families can have their child car seats and booster seats checked for safety and correct fit.

The National Redress Scheme is for people who experienced sexual abuse as a child in an institution. The Women’s Cottage provides support, guidance and information for women survivors considering their options.
