Digital Inclusion & Service Access – Western Sydney Leadership Forum Report:
Western Sydney Community Forum (WSCF) and partners Leadership Forum provided a vital platform for community leaders, advocates, and other professionals to discuss how Western Sydney communities can participate safely and meaningfully in an increasingly digital world.
Discussions focused on digital inclusion as a social justice issue and the need to maintain accessible and inclusive service delivery during digital transformation. Participants explored strategies to improve digital affordability, access and capability, and opportunities to strengthen collaboration across sectors to address digital inequity.

The Project Officer will support the delivery of Council’s strategic priorities within the Community Capacity Building team, with a primary focus on implementing the Game on For Change project, a NSW Office of Sport-funded initiative that partners with local sporting clubs to help prevent gender-based violence through community sport.

Heart Foundation – Heart of the Nation CPR & AED Awareness Sessions
Volunteer community trainers will guide participants through the simple steps of calling, pushing, and shocking. They will away with the confidence to step in if someone collapses – because turning bystanders into responders is what saves lives. Participants will:
- Learn the difference between a heart attack and cardiac arrest
- Understand how to recognise when someone needs CPR
- Get hands-on practice with CPR and an AED (defibrillator)
- Build the confidence to take action when it matters most

Manifold Road Creative Scholarship
The Public Education Foundation’s Manifold Road Creative Scholarship supports public school students attending a high school in Western Sydney who are passionate about pursuing a career in graphic design, visual arts or marketing. This scholarship targets students whose personal circumstances may otherwise limit their opportunities to reach their full potential.
Up to six scholarships are available. Each provides $1,000 per year in both Year 11 and Year 12 (total value: $2,000 per student) to support educational expenses and improve academic outcomes.

Neurodivergent-led, interest-based workshops where neurodivergent young people can explore science and technology, build friendships and feel a genuine sense of belonging.
