City of Parramatta, in partnership with Planet Ark, is hosting its annual National Tree Day – Community Tree-planting, 28 July, Dundas. This year the goal is to plant 10,000 native seedlings with the help of volunteers.

Side By Side Advocacy and Hunter Circles are hosting a Community For Everyone Project Info Session, 25 July, online, or 31 July, Parramatta. The project aims to foster inclusion and belonging, by connecting volunteer social connectors with isolated individuals with intellectual disability who share similar interests.

Parramatta Women’s Shed is a running an Introduction To Woodworking Series: Learn to Make a Toolbox, 20 July, and Learn to Make a Crate, 3 August. Materials and tools are provided for both workshops.

The Department of Social Services (DSS) has been tasked with supporting not-for-profits in Australia to develop a blueprint for the next 10 years. There is still time to have your input by attending a virtual consultation session.
