Western Sydney Community Forum (WSCF) has released a resource: Continuous Improvement Framework for the Western Sydney Community Services Industry – an ongoing process of systematically identifying and implementing changes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, quality, or other defined outcomes. The resource is informed by practices shared by community organisations in the region.
The purpose of this framework is to provide a collective resource which organisations can utilise when planning and engaging in continuous improvement activities to support the delivery of quality person-centred services, which improve outcomes and access for clients.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander
- NSW Treaty Commission Consultation
The NSW Treaty Commission has been asked to listen to Aboriginal people across the State and report back on two key questions:
– Do Aboriginal people want a Treaty or another kind of formal agreement in NSW?
– If so, what should that agreement include?
There is no decision already made. The answers to these questions will come directly from Aboriginal communities.

- Houses to Homes Program
CatholicCare – Houses to Homes program supports young women 16-25 years who are pregnant or have young children in their care and are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness. It offers medium to long term transitional accommodation, along with comprehensive case management support.
Services provided by the program include parenting education, driving and cooking lessons, first aid, and counselling. Tenants receive weekly OzHarvest food hampers, education and employment pathways, and child nurse access. An outreach program offers support when residential capacity is reached.
