Wellways Nepean Blue Mountains Carer Gateway Upcoming July to September Activities
Support for anyone caring for a family member or friend who has a disability, mental health condition, chronic health condition, terminal illness, or is frail aged. Activities include Women’s, Men’s & Grandparents Peer Support Groups; Aged Care Support Group; Mindfulness Group; and more. Online activities are also available.

Linked Group Group Program – Re-building Safety in Relationships
Relationships Australia (NSW) group program designed for children 8-15 years and their protective parent/caregiver after experiences of Domestic, Family & Sexual Violence (including Child Sexual Abuse).
In a small, supportive group environment, under the care of trauma-informed facilitators, the group will explore tools to help rebuild safety, connection and regulation for parents/caregivers and their children.

Listening Walk by the Water
Dharug educator Erin Wilkins and sound artist Oonagh Sherrard are hosting a slow walk focused on Listening to Country and the art of listening at Mountain View Reserve Cranebrook. Participants will be guided in active and mindful listening practices, hear stories about the history and ecology of the Penrith Lakes and Cranebrook areas and listen to underwater sounds with specialised microphones.
The event is supported by Penrith Council’s Magnetic Places and will be recorded as part of a digital story which will be available online.

Medicare Urgent Care Clinics provide walk-in care for urgent, non-life threatening conditions when a regular GP is not available. On-site radiology, pathology and pharmacy are also available.
