Last year, 500 not-for-profit organisations completed Wave 1 of the Pulse of the For-Purpose Sector Survey which looked at the impact of 2019-2020, the bushfires and COVID-19, and that research has now been released. The next wave of the survey has also been launched and will gather more data about the sector, and the ongoing challenges being faced. Participants are being sought to complete this second survey to help take the 'pulse' of the sector through this unprecedented longitudinal study never before undertaken in Australia.
The study is being carried out by the following researchers: Associate Professor Gemma Carey, Dr Megan Weier, and Professor Kirsty Muir, University of New South Wales, Professor Jo Barraket from the Centre for Social Impact, Swinburne University of Technology, and Professor Paul Flatau from the Centre for Social Impact, University of Western Australia.
